Waterlogging effects on tomato plant growth and morphology. We observe tomato plants after their roots are submerged in water for 12, 9, 6, and 3 days. The formation of adventitious roots and the changes in leaf morphology after periods of waterlogging are highlighted in this video. These observations are used in the Lab 7 live session to discuss the role of ethylene (and its precursor, ACC) in these responses.
