In this presentation, I will share my strategies for changing
assignments and course structure in light of AI concerns. I will share
ideas on deterring AI use as well as some potential ways of
incorporating AI as a learning resource. I will also assess how well
these strategies worked in my new summer online course (preview: very
mixed results!). Finally, I will reflect on the limits of these
strategies and what it means for my future courses. While I will be
sharing my strategies and reflections, I hope to create an interactive
session where others will share their own ideas and concerns about AI in
education.
