Abstract: When
it comes to the biotech industry, discoveries at the bench are only the very
first step. Once a technology with commercial potential is discovered or
developed, biotech companies need to identify and define their market(s),
navigate the legal and regulatory landscape, reach their potential customers,
make a sale, and provide technical support to their customers. Every step of
that process is backed by scientific expertise, which means you can be the
scientific expert in the room, even if that room is not a lab. This seminar
will explore job opportunities in industry outside of R&D with an emphasis
in sales and marketing, and introduces a resource with over 50,000 active life
science job postings, info, and tools for job-seekers.
