Bio:
Elenor Castillo, Ph.D., is a Life Sciences professional with over a decade of
experience spanning discovery research, bioprocessing innovation, and
enterprise software solutions for biologics development. She specializes in
helping top-25 global biopharma organizations streamline R&D through
advanced data management, workflow automation, and secure API integrations.
Currently a Scientific
Account Manager at Genedata, Elenor partners with leading pharmaceutical
clients to deploy and configure the Genedata Biologics platform, train
end-users, and architect cross-platform integrations with LIMS, ELNs, and
laboratory automation systems. She has a proven record of delivering scalable
API solutions, enabling seamless data migration, and designing end-to-end
workflows that accelerate candidate molecule development. Her work bridges
science and technology—ensuring that complex software systems translate into
measurable efficiency gains for scientists and business stakeholders alike.
Prior to joining
Genedata, Elenor advanced cell-free expression technologies at Tierra
Biosciences and Sutro Biopharma, where she played a key role in engineering
microbial systems, developing high-throughput protein production workflows, and
supporting IND filings with detailed technical documentation.
Elenor holds a Ph.D. in
Plant Biology with an emphasis in Biotechnology from the University of
California, Davis, and a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Mills College. She
brings a unique blend of scientific rigor, technical acumen, and collaborative
leadership to every project, helping organizations unlock the full potential of
their biologics R&D pipelines.
