Emanuel Ringelblum Distinguished Professor David Biale retired after 23 years at UC Davis. His final lecture took place on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Shrem Museum, and was a culmination of his career as a Jewish cultural historian. Students and colleagues joined all over the world, to witness Professor Biale's final lecture. It was a celebratory international event hosted by the Jewish Studies Program and the Department of History.
