2015 Sheffrin Lecture: Atif Mian, "What Happened to Global Growth?"
From ATS Video
The Sheffrin Lecture brings distinguished scholars from across the social science disciplines to UC Davis to inform our thinking on the day’s most relevant issues of national public policy. In the past five years, the series has brought distinguished scholars from across the social science disciplines to UC Davis to share their work on health care reform, government secrecy, immigration, and polarization in American Politics. The Sheffrin Lectures in Public Policy are possible thanks to a gift from former dean of the Division of Social Sciences, Steven M. Sheffrin, and his wife, Anjali. This lecture is co-sponsored by the Levine Family Fund in Economics. The Levine Family Fund was created by the Levine Family Foundation and supports a range of activities in the Department of Economics, including an annual lecture series. This lecture is also co-sponsored by the UC Davis Department of Economics and the Herbert A. Young Society.
