In this conversation ,Emerita Librarian JoAnne Boorkman discusses her career at the University of California at Davis, including important persons and events that shaped her interests and scholarship. How she came to the Davis campus and his experiences, relationships and accomplishments as a member of the University and the local community . She served as
Head of Public Services for the Carlson Health Sciences Library and was department head in 1988. Also during her tenure at UC Davis, Jo Anne had several
assignments as Academic Federation Assistant to the Vice Provost for Academic
Affairs, as liaison to the Academic Federation, most recently on academic
recall until 2016. Among
her publications are Introduction to reference sources in the health science
and The Literature of the Agricultural Sciences, vol. 3, Animal Science and
Health
