Medical Librarian Linda Grix discusses her career and her role at the Blaisdell Medical Library during the development of the School of Medicine. She describes her various roles in the Medical Library Association culminating in becoming a distinguished member of the Association's Academy of Health Education Professionals.  She was recognized for her contributions to the profession when she received the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group's Award for Professional Excellence in 2003.
