Bill Ong Hing joined the
faculty of the School of Law as a Professor in the year 2000,
after teaching at Stanford Law School and practicing at Baker
& McKenzie, a leading international law firm. He retired in
2010 but continues to teach at the University of San Francisco
School of Law. Best known for his work in the area of
Immigration law, Professor Hing is a noted author, and
distinguished teacher. A winner of the UC Davis Distinguished
Public Service Award, he is also known for his extensive
volunteer community service.
