This interview is with Douglas Conklin, Professor Emeritus of Animal Science. He originally joined the Bodega Marine Laboratory as a Post Graduate Researcher in 1973. In 1993 he accepted an appointment in the Animal Science Department and retired in 2007.
Doug’s research focused on nutritional and environmental conditions needed to raise crustaceans, such as the Maine lobster, as well as fish, such as the California halibut.
He is interviewed by his friend and colleague, Mary Delany, Professor Emerita of Animal Science.
