A Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE) workshop from February 1, 2021, on Engaging First Generation Students in Remote Learning
Description: 42% of UC Davis undergraduates are first-generation college students, and they have particular strengths and concerns that they bring to the university environment. In this session, participants will learn about the unique needs of first-generation students, explore strategies to help first-generation students navigate the college learning environment, and consider how to apply these strategies to their particular teaching context.
