A Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE) workshop from February 8, 2021, on Engaging and Supporting International Students in Remote Learning
Description:
UC Davis has nearly 5,000 international undergraduate students. This extensive cultural, linguistic, and experiential diversity provides an enriched learning ecosystem for our students. In the online setting, it is important to consider approaches that will support international students worldwide to have a meaningful learning experience. In this session, participants will: 1) learn about international students' needs and challenges, 2) explore strategies to empower international students in the remote learning environment, and 3) incorporate these practical tools and techniques into their teaching practices.
