Recording of a DOLCE held Friday, May 5, 2023.
At our DOLCE (Discussion Online Teaching and Collaborative Education) event this Friday, May 5th, at 12pm on Zoom, we will be joined by two faculty guests.
Marit MacArthur, the Associate Director for Writing Across the Curriculum and a lecturer in the University Writing Program, shared her perspective and ideas on ChatGPT in her writing classes.
Our second faculty guest was Katharine Burnett. In 2021, Dr. Andy Jones interviewed Katharine for SITT 2021. During that conversation Dr. Burnett discussed the deep and mutual teaching and learning benefits of exploring kindness as a teaching tool in UC Davis Art History classes.
Katharine Burnett, PhD., is Professor of Art History and Chair of the Department of Art and Art History at UC Davis. She also is founder and director of the Global Tea Institute for the Study of Tea Culture and Science (GTI).
