This presentation focuses on data discovery and evaluation,
examines today’s data landscape by providing an overview of data
aggregators, repositories, and government information, as well as tips
and tools that can be used to find and evaluate historical data sources.
Participants will be introduced to a discovery process that will allow
them to think creatively about how data is socially structured and how
it can be repurposed for contemporary research.
Instructor: This resource demonstration is led by UC Davis librarian David Michalski and is part of UC Love Data Week.
