This video goes over an example of deriving a transfer function for an RLC circuit with dependent sources, as well as using the straight-line approximation to sketch the phase of the transfer function.
This example exploits the techniques of source transformation, Thevenin's theorem, and poles-and-zeroes calculation to find the response.
