At Academic Technology Services' Faculty Forum on Friday, October 21, 2022, we discussed ways that we can best instruct, inspire, and support our students during a time of ongoing change and pandemic recovery. Feel free to review Dr. Andy's 5-minute summary of the event.

We gathered for an open-ended discussion about the ways our students have changed over the last few years. We discussed our students’ readiness to achieve the learning goals for our classes, their attitudes towards hybrid and remote instruction, and their remaining anxiety about the effects of past pandemic disruptions. We also reviewed some of the ways that we can best support our students, such as the strategic use of UC Davis Canvas and other tools to extend classroom lessons and discussions to include everyone.
