IMRD and Summary Genres (UWP 7)

1) introduction to the IMRD structure (introduction, method, results, and discussion sections)
2) introduction to "literature review" as a way to characterize a conversation in published works
3) shares an example of an IMRD structure in Miller & Schulz's "University Literacy" article students read for homework (link to an annotated PDF in video)
4) presents three genres of academic summary: chronological summary (comprehensive), executive summary (accurate representation of the main point), and strategic summary (use of a part of a text to serve a particular writerly purpose).
