This workshop provides an
introduction to using Python for data analysis. We’ll discuss what
Python is and how it’s organized, demo types of tasks this software is
well suited for, and delve into common libraries useful when working
with data. The workshop will run from 2:10-4pm, with 4-5pm for Q&A
and continued practice.
Prerequisites: This workshop is designed for learners from all domains. No prior programming experience is necessary. Bring your laptop with the latest version of Python and Jupyter Lab installed. We recommend installing with Anaconda (https://docs.anaconda.com/anaconda/install/). Please be sure that you can connect to the University’s wireless network (Eduroam or guest).
