This workshop introduces cloud computing, Amazon Web Solutions infrastructure (including AWS Regions and Availability Zones), and the types of workloads that are a good fit for AWS. This session includes a hands-on lab where we will use a Jupyter notebook and AWS APIs to launch a simple web application on AWS. The last 30 minutes of this workshop are reserved for Q&A and continued practice with the platform.
Advanced registration is REQUIRED for this workshop. UC Davis DataLab Affiliates and UC students have priority registration. Register here.
