This workshop provides an overview of the utility and base SQL commands for working with data in a relational database. It focuses on querying data to get to know a database and answer questions, and combining data from separate tables.

Prerequisites: Learners should attend the "Introduction to databases and data storage technologies" workshop. No prior programming experience is necessary. Bring your laptop with https://sqlitestudio.pl/ installed and running.

Before coming to the workshop, please download the file '2022-04-04_intro-sql.zip' from https://bit.ly/38h1T8e and unzip the file. It contains a data set and script that will be used during the workshop.
