Lecture 13. We discuss the role of the element carbon on Earth, how it moves around in a process we call the carbon cycle, where it is stored, where the biggest reservoirs and fluxes are, and why it is so important for life on Earth. Learn in detail why the root cause of climate change could be referred to as “carbon cycle change,” and about carbon from the inside out—from the inside of the planet’s core to the outside in Earth’s atmosphere. Note: My head is missing in the lecture and was supposed to be visible in the lower right-hand corner. Apologies for my missing talking head.
