This 50-minute HERO program Lunch and Learn will help you understand the basic requirements of the new NIH Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy that goes into effect January 25, 2023. Representatives from the Health Equity Resources and Outreach (HERO) program and UC Davis Compliance and Privacy Services will provide attendees with an overview of the resources available and will place an emphasis on topics, tools and resources most relevant to health researchers.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand how the policy applies, what is required and acceptable reasons for limiting sharing
- Summarize the resources available including websites, tip sheets, tools and services offered to researchers
- Explain how to engage the various services
