Developing an integrated plan for research and education is a key ingredient of the NSF CAREER Award proposal process. Erkin Seker (Electrical & Computer Engineering) discusses his approach to shaping the education narrative for a successful proposal. Professor Seker received an NSF CAREER Award in 2015 for his project, "Multifunctional Nanostructured Electrodes for Closed-Loop Control of Neural Activity". The session took place on May 8th, 2020 and was hosted by the Center for Educational Effectiveness.
