Abstract: Color centers are solid-state defects in single crystal materials that can emit spin entangled single photons upon excitation. We explore optical mode confinement and optimum color center positioning in 4H-SiC based waveguide with the newly emerged triangular cross-section profile resulting from angle-etch fabrication method. We further investigate waveguide parameters for efficient color center integration in 4H-SiC.
