This interview is with Senior Lecturer emeritus Richard H. "Dick" McCapes whose administrative, teaching and research contributions to the School were molded, following his 1958 graduation from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, during his two years in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps and subsequent decade immersed in the development and management of population health and preventive medicine practices throughout the United States' commercial turkey and primary breeding industries and in other countries as well.
