Vajra M. Watson, a
scholar activist, faculty director, and professor of educational leadership and
racial justice in the College of Education at CSU Sacramento, spoke about the value of education and how service in education can have an impact through College Corps. She has over 20
years of experience as a teacher, community organizer and researcher, and is
the founder of Sacramento Area Youth Speaks (SAYS).
