COVID-19 permanently changed the way institutions engaged with current and prospective learners. Effective relationships can be built with PlayPosit’s suite of applications while removing the barriers of time and location. In addition to the common use within the learning management system, PlayPosit also affords opportunities for engagement with public and institution-facing web content. In this session we saw examples of how PlayPosit partners have used bulbs (interactive video modules) and playlists to engage with learners in non-instructional settings and leave the session with knowledge of the features that matter most when building these experiences.

OBJECTIVE:
Participants will learn to deploy interactive video to scale their impact and increase viewer engagement asynchronously.
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
This training will highlight the fundamentals of PlayPosit with an emphasis on scaling resources and engaging with learners in non-instructional settings.
ABOUT PLAYPOSIT:
PlayPosit allows content creators ways to create an active (learning) experience for viewers by layering activities, websites, feedback, videos, questions, and more on top of video, audio, and text. It offers simplicity (templates, reusable learning objects) and power (jumps, website embeds, overlays, choice trees, discussion threads). After deployment, PlayPosit also provides learning analytics to improve instruction and learner success.
